Scholarship

For many years, the CADXA has sponsored an annual $1,000 scholarship for an Arizona ham radio operator attending college.  The scholarship is administered by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Foundation.


All applicants must be active, FCC-licensed hams, and must complete and submit the online application on the ARRL website.  Applicants must also forward a copy of their academic transcript(s) from their most recently completed school year to foundation@arrl.org.


Applications for the 2017 scholarship process must be received between midnight October 1, 2016 and 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time on January 31, 2017. 


The details of the Central Arizona DX Association Scholarship are:

  •  Region: Residence in AZ
  •  Field of Study: Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
  •  Institution: Any
  •  Other: Graduating high school students will be considered before current college students
