For many years, the CADXA has sponsored an annual $1,000 scholarship for an Arizona ham radio operator attending college.  The scholarship is administered by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Foundation.

All applicants must be active, FCC-licensed hams, and must complete and submit the online application on the ARRL website.  Applicants must also forward a pdf copy of their academic transcript(s) from their most recently completed school year to foundation@arrl.org by the date shown below.  Applications without accompanying transcripts will not be considered.

Applications for the 2019 scholarship process must be received between midnight October 1, 2018 and 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time on January 31, 2019.  Transcripts must be received by Thursday, February 14, 2019.
